New LMC Leadership, Board Members Elected for 2025-2026 Term

Voting was held among League members on June 26 at the LMC Annual Conference in Duluth.

The League of Minnesota Cities elected several new members and officers to the organization’s Board of Directors at its Annual Conference Business Meeting, held June 26 in Duluth. The Board of Directors is responsible for leading the statewide organization in a way that is strategic, responsible, and representative of the interests of all member cities in the state.

Elected to serve full three-year terms:

  • Robin deCathelineau, mayor, City of Spicer
  • Chris Heineman, city council administrator, City of Red Wing
  • Steve King, mayor, City of Austin
  • Nadia Mohamed, mayor, City of St. Louis Park

Elected to serve a one-year term:

  • Elizabeth Torkelson, city administrator, City of Olivia

Officers for 2025-2026:

  • President: Wendy Berry, council member, City of West St. Paul
  • 1st Vice President: Courtney Johnson, mayor, City of Carver
  • 2nd Vice President: Evan Vogel, City administrator, City of Cambridge
